    Programs

    Throughout the year, a variety of programs are offered by the park staff at Maggie Daley Park. In the summer, day camp and other youth programs are offered in addition to adult focused fitness programs. In spring, fall and winter, patrons will find a number of early childhood classes, sport and cultural programs for youth, and many adult & senior programs.

    Registration for programs is available online or in person during normal fieldhouse hours.

    This beautiful park serves as an amazing space for a number of family-friendly events hosted by the park throughout the year.  Some of the special events offered include a Valentine‚Äôs Day Dance, Egg Hunt, Night Out in the Parks events over the summer, Fall Fest, and Skate with Santa.

    Family Game Night on the Skating Ribbon!

    July 13, July 27, August 11, August 24, September 7 and September 21

    FREE 

    Join us for family game nights this summer. This FREE event will take place from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm and include scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, face painting, sidewalk chalk, relay races, and more! Children must have a parent or adult chaperone and be ages 4 and up. 

    Event is free, and roller blades and scooters will be available for rent if you do not have your own.

    Natya’s mythologies of India in a spectacular dance/theatre performance.

    Natya Dance Theatre’s “In the Blue Light: Stories of India” infuses mythologies of India into a new work of dance-theatre. Based on ancient texts, these rich stories speak through gods, goddesses, animals, and demons, weaving a tapestry of characters that transports the audience to another world.

    Grant Park Music Festival’s Project Inclusion String Quartet presents an hour of interactive musical exploration.

    Grant Park Music Festival offer an hour of interactive musical exploration featuring the Project Inclusion String Quartet – a group of outstanding, young musicians to tour throughout Chicago, encouraging diversity in orchestral music. The joy, energy and talent on display here is truly inspiring! Appropriate for all ages.
