Chicago Park District Phase 5 Mask Policy



As the health and well-being of children in our parks is our highest priority and with most of the children in our programs not eligible to receive the vaccine, the Chicago Park District will continue to require that face coverings be worn by everyone who enters our indoor spaces when children are present.  If children are not present, vaccinated persons may remove their face coverings.



The Chicago Park District encourages everyone to follow the recommendations of public health officials from the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and unvaccinated persons should continue to wear a face covering in crowded outdoor settings or in instances where social distancing cannot be maintained.

Financial Assistance Fund

The Chicago Park District has provided programing for all of Chicagoans for over 100 years! To be able to offer these program to all residents of our city the Chicago Park District has an annual fund raising campaign to ensure the future of these programs. Gogh Skating

In partnership with Immersive Van Gogh Chicago we have transformed our quarter mile ribbon into fields of sunflowers and starry night brushstrokes. You will glide over Van Gogh images that have been laid under the ice. This installation at Maggie Daley Park is included in every ice-skating reservation, there is no additional fee. Just when you thought we couldn’t make this one of a kind ice-skating experience and better!! We did!! **Does not include a ticket to the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit at any off site locations.
